This week we are featuring a lovely stained glass window that we managed to preserve. What makes this window more unique is that the window is also round, so is certainly a little more unique than most windows we have encapsulated in the past.
The encapsulation process starts with the glass been removed from the existing window prior to installation, then temporary glazing the existing window so it is still functional.
The original unit is then then cleaned, repaired and re sized, before been manufactured in to triple glazed units, with the stained glass encapsulated to protect it
The end result is quite stunning as you can see from the photo below from Ms Gray:
Ms Gray was kind enough to take the time to post a review on Google, which reads as follows:
Very helpful and non-pushy staff. The new windows are excellent. The job you did with repairing and retaining our round stained-glass window is fabulous. Well worth the money! Thank you.
