With a door slab thickness of 48mm a composite doors from Gardinia is nearly 10% thicker than most of the alternatives on the market. Each solid timber core is completely encapsulated within a highly durable plastic edge banding, along with two thermo plastic door skins. The result of this means you will never have to worry about painting or varnishing your composite door in the future.


In 2013 Gardinia became the first Solidor premium installer in the Kirklees area. This means all composite doors installed by Gardinia have been fully manufactured by Solidor, to their own high quality and security specifications. This specification is based on years of in house research and extensive testing to create the most secure composite door on the market.   • Kommerling 5 chamber lead free thermally efficient profile outer frame, with a 100% recycled thermally efficient reinforcing system.
  • Avantis secured by design high quality multi point locking system.
  • Ultion high security lock cylinder.
  • Slimline face fixed flag hinge, that has successfully gone through Pas 23 & 24 testing.

Composite doors from Gardinia are manufactured to the highest quality standards, having achieved the BSI ISO 9001, Pas-23, Pas-24 and secured by design accreditation. Each composite door also benefits from Solidor’s 12 year manufacturing guarantee, which covers all aspects of both the door and multi point locking mechanism.

These exclusive composite doors are available in a wide range of styles and frame colour options, with 13 colours available. Gardinia also offer the option of a mobility threshold, making it the perfect solution for easy wheel or push chair access. A comprehensive range of matching combination frames are available with either glass, matching composite side panel or quarter panel, which will complement the look of any property. Rest assured that when you choose a Composite Door from Gardinia you are enhancing your property with style.

Composite Door Colour Options

All Gardinia composite doors are available in 20 colours options, inside and / or outside of the door, including industry firsts, Mocha, Chartwell Green, Duck Egg Blue, French Grey and Irish Oak. In addition the following are also available; Schwarzbraun, Grey, Cream, Rosewood, Chartwell Green, Golden Oak, Foiled White and white matched frames. Choose from 20 different frame colour combinations, you can mix and match for example: Chartwell Green on White outer frame with Duck Egg Blue on French Grey door.

Secured by Design focuses on crime prevention of homes and commercial premises and promotes the use of security standards for a wide range of applications and products. Composite doors installed by Gardinia have been tested at a UKAS accredited test house and have achieved:

  • BS:PAS 23 General Performance Requirements
  • BS:PAS 24 Enhanced Security Requirements.

This video shows three composite doors undertaking the PAS 24 enhanced security requirements test, also know as the cut through test. From watching this video you will see the difference in security & quality between a composite door which is able to pass the PAS 24 test, compared to a composite door which is unable to.
