On Friday the 3rd of May 2019 Gardinia Windows invested in a full day of Health and safety training with it’s appointed advisers E.P. Risk Consultancy.
Health and safety is a major consideration for any organisation. With that in mind all our installation teams, our company surveyor and our service workers attended the training day. Additionally our company chairman Michael Foster and our general manager Allan Hinchliffe backed this important day by also attending and taking part in the full days training sessions.
The day was taken by Mick Brennan (MIFireE, Cert-Ed HSE) who was our appointed competent person at EP Risk Consultancy, located in Northumberland House, here in Huddersfield.
Our full day Health and Safety training schedule was as follows:
- Manual Handling: 9:00 – 11:15
- Ladder Awareness: 11:15 – 13:45
- Lunch: 12:30 – 13:00
- Harness Training: 13:45 – 16:00
The training day ensures that all our on-site operatives are trained and compliant with current health and safety regulations, not only protecting themselves but just as importantly ensures that all our customers receive the same protection.
