Did you know that Gardinia can now install various types of garage doors for our customers in the Huddersfield and Kirklees surrounding area?
Super Strong Steel Doors – The wide range of steel doors available allows you to choose either an up and over fully retracted door or an up and over canopy door to give some shelter to the front of the garage entrance.
Up and over doors can also be electrically operated, with the addition of a motor and boom track (provided there is enough height). Coupled with the choice of either an open out, side hinged door with full locking, or a 1/3 to 2/3 opening door. With a smaller door to access the garage when not wanting to open both doors.
A first-class paint finish, with a full colour palette range to choose from.
Insulated Roller Doors – These doors are designed as a modern look door, with ease of motion as a priority. The doors are insulated to assist in retaining heat within the garage as well as reflecting the cold in winter. As standard they come with an anti-trap safety device to prevent injury during use. The wide selection of colours enables you to introduce a stunning effect to the door, as a feature for your home. The smooth-running motor effectively gives a reliable and quiet opening operation of the door, using either of the two activating fobs provided with the door. The slat heights are 78.5-mm tall, with the option of introducing glazed areas to the slats to allow light into the garage when required whilst the door is in the closed position. Mid position opening is available via the use of one of the two operating fobs, this is to allow greater ventilation if required.
As standard the door is fitted with a safety stop feature to prevent injury. In the instance where the garage houses the main fuse box in the home and you have no access to the garage at all, it is always advised to introduce a low-level emergency release kit, which allows you to open the door without and electric power, if your main electric supply fails.
The time is right to call Gardinia and get things rolling.
Compact Insulated Roller Doors – These doors differ slightly to the Insulated roller doors, in that they incorporate a narrower insulated slat height in the structure of the door, which enables you to have a smaller roller head box in areas where the opening height is an issue. The slat height is a mere 55-mm tall, with a wide range of colours to choose from.
Sectional Insulated Doors – These doors are the highest quality range of doors on the market, which we would always recommend for all homes where the garage is integral to the home and the temperature in the garage badly effects the room/s directly above the garage, particularly if there is little, or no insulation within the ceiling space.
These Scandinavian designed doors are just short of 40-mm thick and filled with a ridged s foam insulator and built to provide a significant increase to the insulation quality of the garage/home. It is most noticeable in garages where a fridge or freezer exists, as the heat from the motors contributes to heating the garage and is therefore retained to keep the garage warm.
The sectional door is motorised for ease of use. So, when arriving home, there is no need to alight your vehicle to open doors in poor weather, you simply use one of the two fobs provided with the door.
The whole of the outer edge of the door is fitted with a rubber gasket, to ensure a good draft seal and a neat finish to the door trims. The base seal has a deeper rubber gasket fitted to allow for a small amount of unevenness of the floor to be sealed when the door is fully closed. We will dispose of the old door, if you wish.
All our doors are usually fitted within the day and the site will be left clean and tidy, the galvanised running rails, spring mechanisms and super strength rollers are all high-quality. With Gardinia’s 36-year reputation for quality work, the garage products we use are designed to give you a long-life performance.
