A year ago on September 1st 2017 we launched our new Gardinia website, this was something I’d spent quite a few months working on between other projects I had ongoing at Gardinia.
During the process of developing our site I decided the Gardinia Blog would become a prominent feature, historically we had published some interesting blog posts, however these were few and far between. This was certainly an area I felt we could do better in, which in turn would give us a regular, relevant content to share on social media.
With this in mind shortly after the new Gardinia site launched I set myself the challenge of ensuring Gardinia published a new blog post every week for a year, with the view of hopefully getting other members of staff involved. I perceived this would be a great way to feature a selection of the fantastic projects Gardinia were undertaking on a weekly basis. I also felt it would be a great way to highlight the work different departments within the company were doing.
The end result been everyone within Gardinia would be kept up to date with on-goings within the company via the weekly blog email. In addition a portfolio of projects we were most proud of would be available for customers to browse any time online, rather than these images sitting on our server, never to be looked at again.
As of this week, we have now produced a blog post every week for the last year.
Standout Posts From The Gardinia Blog:
I thought for this weeks blog we would look back at some of the projects we’ve showcased over the last year on the blog and feature them again this week.
The first project i’d like to feature is the Conservatory With a Panoramic Aspect we installed for Chris over in Golcar, the before and after images featured in this blog post really do showcase the fantastic transformation. In addition the 360 photo below shows the stunning, far reaching views from Chris’s conservatory.

Another favourite is the Mock Horned Sash Windows and an Engineered Suffolk Door Upgrade For Mr & Mrs Friend, I really thought this was a great transformation showing a traditional home upgraded with modern Upvc products, however in keeping with the properties traditional looks. The views over the fields behind Mr & Mrs Friend’s home look great too!
The Hanging Tiled Refurbishment Gardinia completed for Mr & Mrs Feather was a bit of a different project, however I believe this is a great transformation to their property in Wooldale, Holmfirth:
Finally our blog on the day Virgin Media Business filmed a promotional video with Gardinia is one of my favourites. This was an eye opener just how much time went in to filming a three minute promotional video. Knowing how the video unfolded behind the scenes made watching the final video even more interesting.
The end result was a fantastic video for both Virgin Media Business and ourselves:
