Theirs no doubt 2020 was a very different year, however despite that we still managed to get some great installations undertaken and a few blog posts you might never expect from a window company, such as how people are keeping fit in Huddersfield playing Pokemon Go.
So trying to keep things positive for the beginning of 2021, here are some of our favourite installations we managed to undertake in 2020:
Stunning Painswick Coloured Solidor Composite Door Installation – We started the year with this stunning installation for Gardinia customer Mr Bellwood.
This door was glazed with the reflections design and has individual pains of glass traditionally assembled using chrome lead, due to the nature of this design been very delicate, it is encapsulated between two other pains of glass to create a triple glazed unit which protects the design from any possible damage.
Slim Anthracite Grey Windows – Mr & Mrs Schofield had bought a period property in Huddersfield that needed some modernisation, they decided to have our beautiful slim anthracite grey windows, giving maximum sightlines.
The slim Anthracite grey windows together with a brave colour choice for the Composite front door really sits well with this property, showcasing how Gardinia’s stunning products can look in older properties:
Engineered Timber Paint Finished Vertical Sash Windows – Our client has a distinct, period property in Mirfield, which he was anxious to retain its character when replacing his old draughty frames. Engineered timber vertical sash windows we’re chosen by our client and produced a stunning result.
Sectioned Stained Glass Window Encapsulated To Triple Glazed Window – Gardinia was commissioned by Mrs Chamberlain to install new Windows and a Door at her home in Mirfield. What is unique about this project is the existing stained glass windows were in sections. Gardinia was able to take these sections, recreate by using lead to stich the glass areas together to result in a complete, single pain of glass:
