Mr & Mrs Muckenhuber have been renovating a house in Wakefield and chose Gardinia to supply and install the new Upvc Windows.
What is special about this installation is that we re-created and adapted the leaded glass design of the existing windows, to keep the character of the house. For the centre of the leaded design we used clear glass, to better contrast against the obscure glass, this has really enhanced the look of the design, as can be seen in the after photos below.
White woodgrain Upvc windows we’re chosen to give that aged feel, compared to a standard white Upvc Window, which would have looked too modern on this particular property. Our Heritage range was a consideration, however wasn’t chosen as it would have shrunk the size of the glass area down too much, due to the required dummy sash’s.
Below we have some before photos, showing the original old wooden windows, which had seen better days and then some fantastic after photos, showcasing the amazing transformation to the property.
