David & Wendy from Holmfirth decided to upgrade their south facing conservatory due to the conservatory being too hot in summer, making the the room very uncomfortable. A room that still lets in a lot of light and can be used all year round was desired by David & Wendy, a Garden Room from Gardinia would become the ideal solution. Even more so as its possible to put a solid roof on an existing conservatory, becoming a cost effective way to upgrade to a Garden Room.
Many homeowners are increasingly frustrated with the high costs and often the inconvenient process of building a home extension, so upgrading an existing Conservatory in to a full usable room of the house has become a popular choice in recent years.
The Garden Room offers the light and openness of glazed windows and doors, with the luxury, energy efficiency and traditional appearance of a tiled roof. The installation cycle is much shorter than the weeks or even months of a typical home extension, minimising disruptions to home life.
David & Wendy chose Gardinia as we built the conservatory originally, in addition because they we’re happy with the service provided by Gardinia when recently replacing their font door.
Some photos of the Conservatory we upgraded to a Garden Room with a solid roof can be seen below.
I’m sure you will agree it makes for quite the transformation!
