Mr & Mrs Rafferty from Longwood contacted Gardinia to upgrade the windows and doors at their Huddersfield home. Horned Sash Upvc Windows in the Chartwell Green colour were chosen to simulate a traditional looking window.
An existing stained glass window was already present on the third floor, Mr & Mrs Rafferty wanted to do something a bit different when upgrading this window. We came up with an idea, then went to visit our trained partner at Heritage Stained Glass Windows who came up with a design featuring the iconic Castle Hill.
The Solidor Composite door chosen was cream on both sides, in the Flint 3 style and a Chartwell Green frame to compliment the Horned Sash Windows. I think you will agree the the resulting colour scheme compliments Mr & Mrs Raftery’s traditional property well.
In addition for a more authentic look we used our authentic external Georgian bar, which we have previously featured the benefits of on a past blog. Learn more on Authentic External Georgian Bars Used On Windows From Gardinia.
