Alison and Jenny at Sowood, near Halifax had always wanted a cosy corner of the home, with plenty of light and a nice view of their beautiful garden.
Having seen our proposed design they chose to move forward and fulfil their dream. The conservatory is now completed and has transformed their living space, bringing the garden in to their home.
The conservatory was designed with a blue tinted glass feature roof, all glazing was installed with argon gas filled cavities to maximise on the insulation quality of the room.
We used matching stone to enhance the feature of the building works and finished nearly with the surrounding patio.
Alison and Jenny provided new external corner lighting which was connected to their existing security light system.
An aluminium box gutter was used on two sides against the house to allow for a fully pitched roof.
With their new furniture we can see that they will be spending a considerable amount of time in their new conservatory.
The final floor finish was a ceramic tile installed by Andrew Dyson of Birchencliffe which was an ideal choice for their two Labrador dogs.
We hope to re-visit Alison and Jenny shortly to get some photos inside of the now furnished conservatory.
