Mr & Mrs Micklethwaite from Emley contacted Gardinia with the view of transforming their old Conservatory in to a modern Garden room that would be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. A Garden Room upgrade usually allows the current base and building work to remain, so the the roof and frames (if required) can be easily upgraded.
In addition an upgrade to a Garden Room is a popular choice, this is due to the installation cycle been much shorter than the weeks or even months of a typical home extension.
In total Gardinia provided four options for Mr & Mrs Micklethwaite in regards to possible upgrades, after considering all the options carefully they decided to also replace the existing tilt and turn windows and at the same time & upgrade to Gardinia’s energy efficient A rated windows, choosing to have the openers at the top, which was the more desired style of window.
In the end Mr & Mrs Micklethwaite got exactly what they desired and the end result looks fantastic I’m sure you will agree. We have some great before and after photos to showcase this project below.
