Gardinia Windows are now pleased to offer the revolutionary internal blinds from Uni-Blinds. Designed for use in standard windows, doors and conservatories. This is the revolutionary system of blinds encapsulated within the double glazed unit  (blinds in glass, also known as integrated or integral blinds).

Internal blinds are assembled and permanently sealed within the double glazing cavity. Once sealed in this totally dust-free environment, the blinds require no cleaning, always appear new and are protected from damage.

Unlike external blind systems internal blinds also provide greatly enhanced sunshading features and also enhance the u-value of a sealed unit.

They are available in venetian and pleated in a choice of colours, operated either by hand, cord or electric.

So what are the options?­

The C-system:

C-System

The C- System is designed with the rotational frontal magnetic control, for raising and tilting a blind integrated within a double-glazed unit, utilises the force produced by two coupled rotational magnetic devices.

One set of magnets is inserted in the blind head rail within the cavity and the other applied to the external glass surface. This magnet principle does not compromise the unit seal and guarantees the perfect integrity of the double-glazing unit.

The magnets have an unlimited life and are resistant to high temperatures (+ 120°).

S System:

S-System

The S System is a manual system comprising a 14 mm pleated blind integrated within a double glazing unit with 20 mm cavity. The blind movement is achieved by moving a magnetic device positioned centrally on the outer surface of the internal glass across the glass surface. This external magnet interfaces with a similar internal magnet located in the moveable head-rail and it is so designed to absorb possible glass deflections. The application of Verosol pleated blind fabrics, coated with an aluminium layer on one side, reduces solar heat gain and improves U value, whilst regulating the light passing through. Light transfer down the blind edge is eliminated by the use of special shaped-side guides.

The S system is an extremely versatile product with simplicity of control; the blind can be adjusted to any position at any inclination from 0° (horizontal) to 90° (vertical). The blind can be moved in every direction; from right to left, from left to right, from the top to the bottom and vice versa. The system is also highly modular; the basic model is installed in a 20 mm cavity, but can be easy integrated within 20 mm or 22 mm cavity. It is possible to install two blinds within the same unit. The seal integrity is not compromised in the S system.

F System (Solar Powered):

F-System

The F system is a battery operated motorised blind system. With this system, a venetian or pleated blind encapsulated within a 20/22 mm double glazing unit can be raised or lowered via a control device that is magnetically attached to the window or, more comfortably, by remote control.

The system, which is equipped with standard, long life rechargeable batteries and with cleverly designed battery charger, perfectly suits all residential or professional locations. The motor can also be powered in a continuous and self sufficient way, without additional power through an external small and stylish SOLAR panel. Using solar energy, the battery is automatically recharged resulting in considerable saving in terms of energy and time. Such a configuration makes the system particularly suitable for public buildings and offices.
